Since our inception in 2014, Pembroke Titans Against Drugs (PTAD) has worked to provide many events and prevention education in our schools and community.

Our continuing efforts include:

  • D.A.R.E Camp: Annually sponsor local youth to attend the camp and provide local Pembroke High School students to volunteer
  • True Titan scholarships: Annually select and award 2 Pembroke High School students for being exemplary leaders for their peers by making healthy decisions
  • True Titan Award: Seasonally award local youth with this award to recognize children who have done a great job leading by example and encouraging healthy decision making amongst their peers
  • Annual PTAD 6th Grade Youth Pledge Program – program lead by PTAD and Pembroke PD where graduating 6th grade students pledge to lead healthy lives and make healthy decisions
  • Autumn Pumpkin Patch fundraiser every fall in the community
  • Insight student group – a psychoeducation group on substance use
